Sally Whittle
BA(Hons) Humanistic and Integrative Counselling, Reg. MBACP
I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor and offer both short term counselling and longer-term therapy, both online and face to face, whichever feels more comfortable for you. I offer support for many problems, including bereavement and loss, anxiety, depression, worry/panic, stress management, low self-esteem, past/present family and relationship problems, and life problems.
You may feel isolated and alone, or that you are not coping very well. I will listen without judgement and together we will explore your experiences. I will give you the space and support you need to explore your thoughts and feelings about your life now, and how you would like it to change, and offer coping strategies for times when life is tough and seems overwhelming.
I have worked for many years with clients in a variety of settings: in private practice offering long, medium and short term therapy, offering long-term therapy at a crisis centre, a counselling agency and with a bereavement charity and in focused short-term sessions with students. I have worked at the Student Counselling Service of the University of Edinburgh and the University of Southampton. I work with adults and teenager 16+.
What is important to me is that you feel comfortable with me so that we can work in the way that best enables you to bring about positive changes in your life and relationships. You may need courage to take the first step, but together we can bring clarity to difficult situations, ease stuck thought patterns and improve the quality of life.
